The kit includes a PETG 3D printed stand for each side of the radio as well as two M5 screws with matching 3D printed knobs for ease of installation. This kit is available in black, gray, and Army green.
There are seven oval slots on each stand that make it compatible with a wide variety of mobile radios. This stand holds your radio at the perfect angle that makes the front of the radio easy to see and if your radio has a speaker on the bottom (like all of my radios) there is no need for an external speaker.
All parts of this kit are 3D printed using PETG filament. Why PETG instead of PLA? PETG is generally considered stronger, more durable, and better suited for functional parts due to its higher heat resistance and impact strength, while PLA is easier to print with, is biodegradable, and is often preferred for simple prototypes and decorative items where high durability isn't crucial. In layman's terms the PETG will not get ruined if you leave it in a hot car in the summertime like PLA. Don't ask me how I know.
The mobile radio shown in the pictures is NOT included.
